Morgan D. Swink

Morgan Swink is an Associate Attorney at Stowe Law Firm, PLLC, where she is dedicated to helping clients navigate some of life's most difficult legal challenges. Her practice focuses primarily on criminal defense, and she brings to every case a unique perspective gained from years of serving on the other side of the courtroom.

Before joining Stowe Law Firm, Morgan served as an Assistant District Attorney in Rowan County, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases in both District and Superior Court. She later served as an attorney for the Rowan County Department of Social Services, representing the agency in abuse, neglect, and dependency proceedings, adult guardianship matters, and child support court. These roles provided her with extensive courtroom experience and a deep understanding of how cases are evaluated, prepared, and litigated.

Morgan is an accomplished trial attorney who has handled both bench and jury trials involving everything from misdemeanor offenses to serious felony charges. She has also represented clients in complex custody matters, giving her a well-rounded understanding of North Carolina's court system and the challenges families face during legal disputes.

Born in Concord and raised in Albemarle, Morgan is proud to call this community home. She is passionate about serving clients throughout Rowan County and the surrounding areas, providing practical guidance, honest communication, and strong advocacy every step of the way.

Morgan earned her bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before earning her Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law. During law school, she completed the school's yearlong Prosecution Advocacy and Motor Vehicle Law program and participated in Campbell's Restorative Justice Clinic, experiences that further strengthened her litigation and advocacy skills.

Outside the office, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her children at their sporting events, going to the movies, and bringing family and friends together for memorable gatherings.
